Since the launch of a premium in-app subscription service to WeatherPro for iPad in March 2011, new features have been added, content display optimised and social media functionality introduced.

Version 2.1, the latest update to WeatherPro for iPad, introduces social media functionality.  Users can now share the latest weather observations for selected locations with friends and followers on Facebook and Twitter.

With European summer holidays just around the corner, the recent addition of Beach Weather will be invaluable for all beach lovers.  Beach Weather provides maps of water temperatures in Europe (on the standard version) and for the Mediterranean, Caribbean and other popular holiday destinations on the Premium version.  Premium also includes a UV Index feature – essential when spending time out in the sun.
