23 November 2011: WeatherPro HD for Android 1.6 is a brand new app in the WeatherPro range.  Launched at the same time as the latest update to WeatherPro for Android, the new app for Android Tablets skips straight to version 1.6 so that users experience all the same functionality as available on the popular smartphone app.  New features on both the WeatherPro apps for Android Tablet and smartphone include additional languages and live wallpaper.

Optimised for Tablets, WeatherPro HD for Android 1.6 supports Honeycomb and users enjoy all the benefits of the operating system and large screen.  In addition to tablet optimisation, version 1.6 of both apps introduces new features and languages.  This is a major update in regards to new languages as both apps will now be available in Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Polish and Russian, in addition to the seven European languages already available.

Live wallpaper is a great new feature, introduced by popular demand.  Without even opening WeatherPro, users will instantly have an indication of the current weather with a simple glance at the background image.  When activated, the WeatherPro live wallpaper automatically updates in line with the latest weather.

Further improvements to version 1.6 are optimised widgets and bug fixes so WeatherPro for Android will be running faster and smoother than ever before.
