• Quality is our number one priority and we put forecasting accuracy at the heart of our business.  With over 100 meteorologists and a department dedicated to meteorological research and development (MRD), we invest heavily in both time and money to produce the most accurate forecasts on the market.

  Verification has proven that the most accurate forecasts are derived from a combination of model sources therefore MeteoGroup, unlike most weather providers, invests in five principle model sources.  The model sources used by MeteoGroup are recognised as being amongst the most accurate in the world: ECMWF, UKMO, GFS, Hirlam and WRF.

  Our MRD team is commited to developing sophisticated weather tools and exploring new technologies.  Our advanced techniques have resulted in MeteoGroup leading the way in forecasting for many weather-critical industries.

  We continue to improve our forecasting techniques, monitoring the quality of the output and calibrating the systems. One of MeteoGroup's most important developments to date is Multi Model MOS and this sophisticated technique confirms our position as pioneers in meteorological R&D and as market leaders in the provision of high quality forecasting services.
