Job Title: Systems Developer C/C++

The Dutch Headquarters of MeteoGroup is in Wageningen, about an hour outside Amsterdam, where R&D and IT Development work is done for the whole group. A total of 70 staff work at Meteo Consult where the working environment is creative and informal.

Job Description:

Meteo Consult is continuously developing applications to help our customers make optimum use of our weather information and improve the production process for the our many different markets. The IT department currently employs 13 staff and we are looking for an additional:

Systems Developer C/C++

Working alongside the current team, the successful applicant will be responsible for the technical implementation of new ideas and products originating from the commercial and operational arms of the business as well as from within the IT Department itself. Flexibility and creativity are much valued.

Profile:

The successful applicant will have 3-5 years experience of development in a C++ environment. Knowledge of programming language C and familiarity with database systems (SQL) are desirable. We are seeking someone who can work independently as well as being a strong team-player, good communication skills are essential and you will also need to speak fluent Dutch and/or English.
