Europe’s weather specialists, MeteoGroup, have launched an exciting new application for Apple’s iPhone. Weather Pro utilises stunning graphics to present a comprehensive weather forecasting service designed for European users.

Fully GPS-enabled, Weather Pro uses iPhone’s positioning capabilities to provide the user with weather forecasts for their specific location, as well as a search facility delivering forecasts for more than 250,000 locations worldwide – three-hourly and 7-day.

Weather Pro also delivers the latest radar images for the UK, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain and the USA, and satellite images for Europe. Images can be downloaded and animated with full zoom and pan functionality.

Further applications will become available over the coming months and the service launched in new languages. Weather Pro can be downloaded from the iPhone App Store at a one-off cost of £2.39 with all weather information provided free.
