City weather
Today (Friday): Once any early mist or fog patches clear, most parts can expect a dry, bright day with good spells of warm sunshine. There will be some areas of cloud around, however, especially across eastern parts, where there is the slim chance of an odd isolated light shower. Mainly light winds.
Tonight (Friday night): A fine evening for most with some long spells of early evening sunshine before sunset. Overnight it will remain dry with long clear spells, although mist and fog patches will begin to develop during the first half of the night and these will become more widespread towards the early hours, particularly in eastern areas. A cool night across some central and eastern areas as temperatures dip a little below the average for this time of the year.
UK Outlook (Saturday and Sunday): On Saturday, any early mist and fog will clear during the morning to leave a mainly fine and dry day with sunny spells. There is however the chance of a few light showers in the far south-west into the evening. Pleasantly warm again in mainly light winds. On Sunday, western Scotland and Northern Ireland will see plenty of cloud with the odd shower, but some sunshine is likely too. Elsewhere, mainly dry and fine with variable amounts of cloud.
